When developing the web page, we spent some time thinking about how to advertise that a fully functional single case version of the software is available for free.
We didn’t care for “Free Trial” in that it denoted a version that was limited to specific period of time. While we currently say “Try i-View,” what we really mean is try i-View.
There is a free version of the software that allows you to not only fully review and process a single case, it also provides you with 3 valuable PDF manipulation utilities that you can have and use at no charge even if you don’t license our product. Why? Because they’re very useful tools and as lawyers serving lawyers, we know how useful they are.
- PDF renaming to Bates Numbers: Instructions are below but a very simple tool to move from raw client files to documents ready for production.
- Bates Labeling, once you have documents properly named, the next step would be to get them labeled. i-View Demo does that as well.
- Efficient designation of Logical Document Divisions – it is not uncommon to receive a single 1000 page PDF in production. A single huge file is as bad as 1000 single page files. I-View Demo gives you a great tool for rapidly reviewing a document, designating the page breaks and breaking the massive file up into individual documents. There are a number of benefits to having accurate document breaks but most importantly reducing the number of document/pages that have to be reviewed by 75% (average document size in the legal copy world is 4 pages).
